AS usersに投げたら、「"The selection of the front-most window"って書いてあるぜ」と言われてしまった。。。
でもねぇ、illustrator CSでも10でもいけてたんだけどなぁ、、、
しかもdocument classのselectionにはそんなこと書いてないし。

ぶーたれても仕方ない。仕様変更なのだろう。(-_-メ;)

すごくかっこわるい解決方法。
duplicate text frame obj_index of document doc_index to beginning of document 1
まあ、copy & pasteしないだけでもよしとする。
